Waze Beacon navigation technology has now been switched on in the New M4 Tunnels giving you access to reliable GPS navigation when travelling underground.
Users will benefit from the new technology when using the Waze app which can be downloaded on to your mobile device.
All you need to do is make sure you have Bluetooth enabled and use the Waze navigation app. The technology works on both mobile phones and tablets (both Android and Apple).
The Waze navigation app can be downloaded for free and is available to anyone with an Android or Apple device.
Please remember your mobile phone is only permitted to be used while driving or riding if:
• It is in a cradle fixed to the vehicle and doesn’t obscure your view of the road.
• It can be operated without touching any part of the phone, such as via Bluetooth and voice activation.
Stretching three lanes each way between Homebush to Haberfield, the New M4 Tunnels will help get Sydney moving.
