Motorists are advised a series partial closures of the New M4 Tunnels between Homebush and Haberfield will take place for up to four nights between Monday 2 and Thursday 5 September for scheduled maintenance.
To minimise disruption to motorists, the motorway will be closed in one direction at a time and all works will be carried out at night. The eastbound tunnel between Homebush Bay Drive and Parramatta Rd, Ashfield and Wattle St (City West Link) will be closed between 10pm and 4am on Monday 2 September and Wednesday 4 September.
The eastbound tunnel entry at the Concord Interchange will also be closed. The westbound tunnel between Wattle St (City West Link), Haberfield and Parramatta Rd, Ashfield will be closed between 10pm and 4am on Tuesday 3 September.
The westbound flyover bridge at the Concord Interchange will remain open. Closures may also be required between 10pm and 4am on Thursday 5 September as a contingency option.
Electronic message signs will direct motorists if an additional closure is required. Detours at Homebush Bay Drive, Concord Rd and Wattle St will be in place while work is carried out.
Motorists are thanked for their patience while this work is carried out and encouraged to plan their journey in advance, allow extra travel time and follow the signs. For the latest traffic information and to help plan your journey, visit www.livetraffic.com
